Hi, I wanted to ask about bonsai; I have a shop where I would like to put a ficus, serissa or carmona bonsai, the only doubt I have is the light that would be missing both on Saturday and Sunday (closing days). I ask you this question because I spoke to an expert in a nursery in Rome who mentioned that it was not possible. Thanks
unfortunately I can only confirm what the expert with whom I already spoke to told you: plants do not survive without light. Consider that plants feed through photosynthesis, which develops only in the case of sunlight, so it would be as if you decided not to feed anything to the cat for the whole weekend. In particular then, indoor bonsai are almost all plants originating from very bright places, and already suffer at home if you cannot guarantee adequate lighting, let alone if they remain for days without light.
